Hey Daniel,
We use Solaris virtualisation and it works great. The zones (VMs per se)
are lightweight, easy to administer and rock solid.
btw, common misconceptions are that you need sun (oracle) hardware and that
the os is not free. These are both false.

Hi Apoorv,
We, along with Carsten and some other guys are working on IMS extensions
for Kamailio. Right now the code sits in a staging area while we test and
improve before re-integrating it into Kamailio master. You can find the
extensions here:

This seems like a really strange bug, what compiler are you using, gcc or
sun studio? We use gcc and don't have any issues like this. I will use sun
studio if you confirm that you are using it and will give that a go.

tested both versions and xmlrpc performance (and stability) was way better.

run from somewhere. What I would do is move the /etc/init.d/kamailio script
somewhere safe (your home directory for eg). Then reboot and see if
kamailio still starts - if it does you need to find out whihc script is
being cal
Hi Sammy,
When you use the init script, it is starting Kamailio with the correct
arguments to get the environment you wish (-m 2048 probably). If however,
you just call kamailio these args are not there. Im not sure why you are
running with kamailio command directly. Why don't you add your init sc
Hi Austin,
Have a look at the TM module docs. You will find the appropriate commands
there.
