Hi,
Everyone who uses the mustek_usb backend and has trouble with scanning
more than once may want to get the latest code from SANE CVS or the
backend homepage: http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/mustek_usb-backend/
Affected scanners:
Mustek ScanExpress 600 CU
Mustek ScanExpress 1200 UB

I was actually asking if it was the endpoint reset that triggered the
bug. But I think that was correct. Concerning the spelling: thanks,

Sorry about this but I may have another issue with this backend (of course
it could be the scanner, which was boughgt second hand).
Scans appear to arrive with the first third of the scan a light colour and
the remaining two-thirds a darker colour.
Could this be a backend problem or is it more li
Henning,
is this related to the recent problem that Eddy deGrief and I had with the

Thanks for localizing that. I was aware that sometimes a cancel call would
trigger a segfault, but haven't had tiem to investigate further. BTW, is it

Hi all,
thanks to all for helping resolving this. By setting the device name in
sanetwain.ini in c:\windows to the device name returned from scanimage -L
everything now works.
One thing that might help people like myself would be if the location of
sanetwain.ini was explicitly named and this res

Hello Luca,
there is no such function in xsane. I do not see a reason for this functi=
on.
When you close the scan program you normally do not leave
the paper/photo on the scanner. Even if you leave it there can not
be sure that it still is exactly at the same place.

NO. sane-find-scanner might be able to tell whether this scanner is based on a
gl646. There is no backend for that scanner.
Frank.
Gerhard,
I have a created a few logs with USB snoopy and the newer USB sniff,
but they are very large in size. I'm going to try and sort through
them and find the relevant URBs.
In the meantime, I did some searching through the registry for
Visioneer, but didn't find anything interesting. Wh
