Hi,
There is list of backends that should be included on the TODO list. As
some of the have been listed for a long time with no news, I'm
interested if the authors want to have them included in SANE at all.

This will also disable _PLUSTEK_USB for all other platforms that don't

Currently all description files (backend/*.desc) are parsed by
tools/sane-desc.el and included in one HTML page:
doc/sane-backends.html (see
http://www.mostang.com/sane/sane-backends.html). Backends not yet

Hi there,
After some hours trying the new Epson-KAWA frontend I think this should
NOT be called a 'SANE frontend'; it comes with it's own backend called
'epson' which looks incompatible to the epson backend currentl

I'm not that sure. It depends on what's the meaning

Wouldn't it also be interresting to have the list sorted by
manufacters/scanner models than by backends.
Sorting the list by backends is only interresting for developers, not
users.

No, it's not available. But as there is no USB-Support for SANE

Hi Franz,
is the function setitimer declared or even available?
If yes, what are the parameters...
On Linux the struct itimerval is defined as:
struct itimerval {
struct timeval it_interval;/* timer interval */
struct timeval it_value; /* current value */
};
