Sage documentation and the tutorial are written for and by research
mathematicians, and can present tremendous barriers to non-
mathematicians. In particular, there is great interest in making Sage
accessible to undergraduates and high school math teachers. At the

A small suggestion - could you please post pdf's (or txt's) instead of

Great idea! I have long thought about this, as well as the fact that
the tutorial is not really appropriate for most introductory students
who are scared of anything non-clickable, but have ended up doing what
I needed to in class or on a worksheet specific to the project
involved, nothing system
This project is in part a repackaging of "Sage for Newbies" in a
modular, more contribution-friendly form. The smart_calculator primer
covers most of what Ted had in his chapters on Sage computations and
symbolic manipulations. I hope his programming chapter will get
subsumed in the programming
This is coming together very nicely -- good work!
I'll integrate some code snippets into the SlugMath wiki, as we
discussed. As I carry out this integration, I'll let you know about
any modifications I make, and give some feedback on the worksheets
you've written.
