Great idea! I have long thought about this, as well as the fact that the tutorial is not really appropriate for most introductory students who are scared of anything non-clickable, but have ended up doing what I needed to in class or on a worksheet specific to the project involved, nothing system

This project is in part a repackaging of "Sage for Newbies" in a modular, more contribution-friendly form. The smart_calculator primer covers most of what Ted had in his chapters on Sage computations and symbolic manipulations. I hope his programming chapter will get subsumed in the programming
