This project is in part a repackaging of "Sage for Newbies" in a
modular, more contribution-friendly form. The smart_calculator primer
covers most of what Ted had in his chapters on Sage computations and
symbolic manipulations. I hope his programming chapter will get
subsumed in the programming primer, to be developed.

No need for us to stop! Hop on board whenever inspiration strikes. In
general, a primer is a great way to collect Sage functionality around
*any* topic as you learn it with the great bonus of preserving your
research efforts for your future self and others.

We are all graduate students and there's been some talk of
primer-izeing courses as we take them, something of immediate use to
other students and instructors. There are many possibilities... a
collection of your classroom examples organized around some theme
might make a very nice primer!
