Great idea!  I have long thought about this, as well as the fact that
the tutorial is not really appropriate for most introductory students
who are scared of anything non-clickable, but have ended up doing what
I needed to in class or on a worksheet specific to the project
involved, nothing systematic due to lack of time.  I particularly like
goals # 4 and 5, which I try to emulate in my own introductions.

You may also want to look at the "Sage for Newbies" project, which is
I believe now defunct but still may have some useful perspectives and
is somewhere on the main website under documentation.

Please post here again when you run out of steam; by that point some
of the rest of us might have built enough energy to take on a few of
the ones you still need!
