I have got problems with setting up pppd to run with other logins other than root. Prehaps I can draw on everyones vast knowledge base on this occasion... :) I have installed a redhat 5 distrubution recently, WITHOUT X. I have succesfully set up pppd and chat scripts, so that root can dial up.
