Mark,
Not being familiar with NEC...are you still required to have rapid shutdown
when using microinverters?

Here is a link to a great ongoing project that is assessing the effects of
module tilt and snow cover.

Wrenches,
I'm looking for a discontinued Fronius DataManager 1.0.
If anyone has one they'd part with or if you can suggest a possible source then
please reply to me off-list.
Much thanks,

Jason,
Contact Firestone yourself and tell them the roofers claim and if it's true
then get it in writing. If it's not, get it in writing.

to last very long. We often have several on each install that the washer simply
will not hold tight.

Tom,
I commented on a few different products on a thread with a similar subject line
as this one, none of which would impede airflow significantly, IMO.

Jessie,
Dan with Exeltech just gave some good insight to cold weather inverter
capacitor tolerances in the thread "Electrolytic Caps vs. Thin Film Caps".
We had -26C here (Edmonton) today and the next couple of days are looking like
minimum -30C with windchill on top of that. This is p

ng to the question...
Why did the glass shatter?
I don't want to just assume, but if there is no sign of impact, I'm wondering
if this could be a warranty issue? Frame expansion/contraction due to
temperature swing maybe?
Any experiences, thoughts or advice?
Module is a Sanyo HIT N215A
I was told a few days ago that a PV module will likely never produce the energy
it took to make it I bit my lip, disagreed and wished i could recall in
detail what i had read in one of the reports/articles i had read in the past on
this topic. From what i can remember it is about 2-3 yrs.
Never mind Jim, i found the attachment in your original post, under a different
'subject' title.Thanks,benn

Jeremy,Is the inspector citing a specific code rule, necessitating a "listed"
battery enclosure? If no such code rule exists then he is likely unfamiliar
with the requirement and is shooting for 'something'.I have not seen or heard
of such an enclosure, but there are requirements for proper ve

Love it! Except the outside measuring tape holder needs a holding strap
otherwise the tape easily gets knocked off and if you're lucky if you see
when/where it happens.
There are different models with different capabilities, like a pocket for
a laptop, so to each their own.

Wrenches,I have an off-grid client who is going to be connecting to the grid.
Since the system (~9 kW of PV and ~2400 Ah battery) is already well suited for
the loads, I am wondering about the necessity of an essential loads panelboard.
I'm not sure if I see the need since the battery is alre
