Has anyone successfully paired multiple Radians and an AC generator in
support (parallel) mode? We're getting mixed advice from Outback tech so
far. Need 600A continuous backup.
Thanks!

The only way to grid zero with a Radian is with dc coupled solar. AC coupled
with frequency shift has to sell to the grid.

William,
This is new for the 2017 code
Just use a transformer.

t here. If the combined PV
AC inverter output is less than 22.5 kW the system will work fine. Tesla does
have a list of approved PV inverters but unless you're looking to connect
something over 3 years old it should be fine.

You’ll need to either measure or calculate impedance from the inverters up to
and ideally including the utility transformer. The most likely culprit are one
or both are undersized.

If each lithium battery has an internal BMU and your wires are sized properly
for their output it does not matter.

Glad you found it, Jay. You also don’t need to match the length of AC
conductors on paralleled inverters.

I’ve seen services at the end of utility lines have wildly fluctuating voltage,
especially during high demand winter months. When voltage goes below or above
inverter set points the inverter will disconnect with a fault like you listed.
Changing inverters will only help if the new one has a larg
