Hi Jason, I had a smooth sailing warranty part replacement a few weeks ago on an Outback system. I can't say, with confidence, that will be your experience. It did take 3 weeks to get the replacement but I was somewhat impressed it showed up at all. We have come across many, many Outback system

It has been a few weeks since this was last discussed, and I'm looking for an update from anyone who knows if Outback is likely to exist as we know it going forward. There are virtually none of their products installed locally, but I have a new off-grid client with a quad VFX stack system with mul

Jay, I have not tried it with anything but the Midnite BMS, so no personal experience. Midnite says it is compatible with others, and I will take William's word that it is compatible with Pylon protocol. Howie On Sun, Jul 21, 2024, 10:32 AM William Bryce via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wre

Hi Jay The AIO will work with any battery that uses the Pylon battery protocall. You can find some Youtube videos of it being used with the EG4 wall mount batteries. On Sun, Jul 21, 2024 at 9:29 AM jay via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> wrote: > HI Howie, > > Does the AIO commu

HI Dan, I can only talk about my experience. Outback tech support has been going downhill for years and if hadn't been for Lones would have really sucked. The support I’ve got from Signature has been good. So far its only been for programming and commisssioning help but its been quick, e

I had a tech support call with Outback on Thursday, I got right through to someone smart and competent and right away. They are sending a new control stack under warranty. Maybe I got lucky? I was surprised. He did say that EnerSys was still helping with the warranty aspect. On Sat, Jul 20, 20

I just checked the OB forums page and there is nothing current. One thing I found says that the new president of OB is the CEO of Big Battery. I don’t know that to be a fact. Which is also somehow related to signature solar/ EG4. My guess is that if/when OB resurfaces it won’t have the same product
