The point of operation can be adjusted above normal battery operating

Hi Jay,
The "official" length limit is 130ft (40m), but we have lots of systems running
at 200ft+ without problem. As long as the inverters and charge controllers are
close together a long run to an SCP or AGS should be fine.

Hi William - the 200A rating is to allow for the fact you may have 48A
of pass through from the grid to the critical loads with the normal 60A
breakers in the system.

Hi Drake - the limit in the PV in this case was so we could not exceed
the minimum load in the subdivision, to make sure there was no back feed
to the generator.

The built in com ports on the XW system devices use CAN bus hardware,
with a proprietary communication protocol, so either one of the above
devices is the best way to make your connection from this to a computer.

The XW should get back in grid-tie sell mode automatically, as long as
the battery voltage was above the Grid Support Volts setting. You may
want to try dropping that.
Hope this helps!

Hi Matt -
I think I know which site you are referring to, and the issue there was
not an inverter temperature problem. The units were running at or colder
than the rated minimum temperature for GT's... and other than for the
LCD not being very readable this is not a problem. We routinely test
.
Needless to say this has been looked at closely in house and all the
hooks were designed in to add a system A-h meter module...we need to
figure out when and how we can best add this. No definite answer yet,
but all input appreciated.
