As long as you have proper over current and wire sizing, there shouldn't be
a problem with paralleling C60s. Of course, keeping the batteries at 12v
for a 2kw array makes everything else bigger and more expensive. And they
won't get the MPPT advantages of even 20 year old charge controller
then. Easier maintenance and operation for the client, less headache for
you. I've definitely gravitated toward the KISS concept of the years, for
both my and my clients' sanity...

Thanks Jerry, that is what I would certainly suggest first, but I was just
curious if there is a way to drive an AC pump with just PV before I suggest
pulling the pump.

the situation, but wanted to see if anyone has idea how to potentially

Had your client tried running the problematic appliances using generator
direct, that is avoiding the xw entirely. That will at least tell you if it
is something to do with the generator output or with the interaction of the
generator with the xw that is causing the problem.

Have you tried IMO (https://www.imoautomation.com/). I haven't seen any
ATS units advertised, but they have a pretty extensive and reasonably
priced listing of DC control equipment.

limited experience, although I have yet to use it in an off-grid

The last I heard, the residential tax credit could only be rolled forward 1
year - so spread out over 2 years. But I'm not an accountant, so if anyone
authoritative knows differently, I'd love to but corrected.

before adding water vs. after adding water and doing a short bulk charge?

Easier than board replacement, but you need to open the body up the same
way. The fan is attached to the upper part of the housing - 4 screws and a
single connection. Trick will be finding the fan, although I think lots of
distributors still have it in stock.

It certainly is possible I've missed something, but I've never seen any
references to not eating batteries before equalizing. If anything, there is
statements saying make sure to check levels before equalizing. I'm not sure
why you wouldn't bring levels up before
