Hi Jason,On a recent install 2 of 3 new batteries had a low SOE and failed the self test. This made sense as part of the self test is discharging the battery, which you wouldn’t want to do if the batteries are depleted. Anyway, the low SOE batteries also had trouble “associating” with the inverter

Thx Wayne. Curious, I guess they are in a sense AC batteries, as there is no way to access them for DC jump charge? And I guess that is the same with Tesla? In that there is not way to access the battery, or they didn’t figure you’d actually have a true black start? thanks for the info. jay

Hi Dave - Thanks for following up on this. I spoke with Parker in the sales department just last Friday 9/27. I explained that I had heard that monitoring type C and D SolarBridge with Enphase equipment was possible, but he said there was no way. That said, I think he was just not up to speed yet
