Just ordered one so I’m quite certain they are starting to be available again.
That’s what I believe to be the case with Zonna anyway. Additionally, I was
told by an Outback technician a couple months ago that once the supply chain
issues are dealt with they will upgrade any of the Lite versions
On exposed fastener metal, I have had good results with a cord grip
connector through the roof to a 4 square metal junction box flat up against
the bottom of the metal roof panel in the attic.

Hi, Mechanix~ Is the Mate3S in short supply for mid to late 2023? I see
there's a "Lite" version with no internet capability--but are enough
projects buying the Lite so those who want the full version can still
get it from inventory?

I can't speak to longevity since it just came out, but EZ Solar just came
out with a pretty interesting rail-mounted j-box option that clamps to the
rails with hose clamps. It sounds strange at first, but in practice I found
the samples to work very well.

What's currently your best long-lasting and safe solution/product(s) for
transitioning from PV wire to wire in conduit on a residential pitched
roof? The system I have in mind is on a 6/12 metal roof, in case that

I had the same experience as the older post you referenced with these mods on 2 MW system. Lots of burn marks and shattered glass, located at the edges of cells. And under thermal imaging there were clearly lots of issues, including ones that hadn’t (yet) manifested themselves to the naked eye. The
I was searching the forums for information on Peimar modules and this is
all that came up. Does anyone have any experience with recently produced
PERC modules from them? They are being offered through my distribution
network at an attractive price, but I am a bit skeptical.
