When I put Berthouds on my Ram I was surprised at how easy they were
to install. They were actually easier to install than SKS.
I think the Berthouds tend to be a little sturdier. And they're
certainly cheaper. But man, those Honjos look nice...

He could always get an extra set of rims to hold onto and an extra set
of those Schwalbe tires like Rivendell sells, they'll last years. I
ride bigger bikes so all mine are 700c but if I rode smaller bikes I
wouldn't hesitate to go for 650b.

the wait. I'm just curious. Per the Rivendell website it says waits
are now like a year or so which is shorter than it was a few yea

g, I can't rave about their decaulers. The problem is that the GB
decaulers are all too long and seem to push the bag out further than
it needs to go. VO has a headset spacer decauler which is nice but
that has problems too depending on your stem length and height.

Apparently Kent uses WTB saddles. I have friends who swear by them.
They look nice and if I were to go back to using that kind of saddle
I'd probably use one of those.
I do wish Rivendell would make their MUSA shorts a tad longer and a

I've got money tucked aside and will definitely be adding another bike

Actually, Grant had commented a while back that RR#42 would be out
before the end of the year. But, as with most things Rivendell, you
can add 3 to 4 months to that. I'll bet it's out before Spring
although it does seem Rivendell has quite a few irons in the fire.
