Well, my brother-in-law Joe and I finally did Marin County right for a trip
that lasted longer than one day. My first adventure in Marin back in 2009 was a
single night of hotel touring and accidentally meeting up with Esteban,

Midfork eyelets on the Ram are a rare gem. They existed as stock features only
at the very very end of the Ram's run. I'm pretty sure that not even all the
stock green ones had them. Maybe just the very last batch, released when Grant
had already posted that there would only be one more batch.
Oh well, 0 for 2 on green ones in the field having mini-rack eyelets. So I'm
probably wrong in thinking that they were stock in the last batch. However, I
do remember someone posting a photo of a new one that was made in the late
green period, and it had Hilsenish lugs and mini-rack eyelets. May

A few years ago there was a yellow Hillborne that had an undertube, and the undertube was not lugged. It might have been fillet-brazed. I still considered it a nice, lugged frame. I failed to find photos of that beauty online. Someone at Rivendell owned it, I believe.

I think the 60 and 62 have about the same top tube length, both somewhere between 60 and 60.5 cm. That's actual length, not effective.
