Agreed - the MKS touring pedals are designed to use with toe clips. They
work fine as a city bike pedal for short trips, but for me anything more

IME, once a crank arm starts doing what you described, it's time to get a
new crank arm.
You can try different options for a fix, but it'll be a short fix at best.

I would think as long as a bag or the front wheel doesn't obstruct the
beam, that it really is splitting hairs as Bill says. The beams of the
latest dynamo lights are very impressive and I would think mounting
position shifted by a few inches (because that really is all it is)
shouldn't matter.
Bagman didn't play nice with the Selle-Anatomica saddle - saddle clamps were
near the rear ends of the saddle rails straight section. Bummer. Looks like
I'll just use a standoff or make a tall saddlebag supported by a regular rear
rack.

While waiting for Clem, and still trying to convince myself that the large
59cm frame would indeed be large enough, I decided to do an experiment: get
a 80s MTB, largest I could find (57cm center-top seattube in this case) and
push it to the height limits and try and make it work for me. I figur
+1 on the Spurcycle bell. The sound is much crisper than a Crane bell IMO.
Also, the way it mounts is wonderful - no external bolts/nuts like other
bells.

While the Technomic Deluxe (190mm tall quill) was made at one point in
25.4mm clamp, they seem pretty hard to find these days, and usually new or
described as NOS. The Tech Deluxe seems to only be available new in 26.0mm.
I despise handlebar shims, so I got a Tech Standard while I searched

In my case, I'm just being tire clearance greedy - bike will fit 37mm tires
w/ fenders, I have 42mm tires installed and would like to keep them there
with fenders.
Couple ideas:
Can the rack be moved back further - shorten the diving board strut
attachment? That will bring the base of the rack tombstone closer to lining
up with the decaleur.
Do you have stiffener panels installed? If you remove those the bag will
conform less box-ily (?) to the rack.

correctly. The Romulus/Redwood were less fancy versions of the Ram, that
were pretty much identical designs (though it seems there were tire

I think the issue with the Road Standard is that 38mm is the largest that will
fit, which is fine. I'd like to fit 42mm plus fenders which I'm sure the

tires in my stable right now, so switching back to 700c road build.

This was on my Clem (59cm) and worked great.
I believe it is the 'Tall' version as it fit on Clem with 29x2.35 tires and

a road bike, then it got the idea that it could fit 650b in the 46mm range.

I had my first kid nearly a couple years ago, and the second is due
shortly. My biking priorities and types of rides changed drastically with
an infant. I think the Hunq would be great as a kid hauler/city-commuter.
If you're going to do road rides, I'd suggest keeping the Hunq, sell
everything

The complete is the better deal. The parts list is very nice. Royce hubs are
