I think the issue with the Road Standard is that 38mm is the largest that will fit, which is fine. I'd like to fit 42mm plus fenders which I'm sure the Redwood can do, just the brake issue. FWIW, I have another 650b single speed conversion with 750 centerpulls that stops fine. Another consideration is adding centerpull brazeons, which raises another question I've been pondering: can Paul Racers (long reach) be interchanged with Paul Racer Mediums? Put on the longer ones for 650b and the mediums for 700c? David Chicago
