Hello all,
My friend is looking to buy his wife a step through/low top tube frameset
or complete for her upcoming birthday. Please hit me up if you're willing
to part with your bicycle. Thanks for looking.
Warmly,

But it's there and if I ever put a bolt through it, I'll probably use
the cork trick I saw in the previous post and elsewhere. An artisan-
shellacked cork, of course. ;)

Hi Glen. Sorry, just getting around to responding now.
Here's a top-down photo of my bar setup, as described. Hope this
helps.

The intensity is subdued compared to butterscotch but I really like
that color a lot! It would receive a lot of complements, I'm sure.
OTOH, I now feel like it's hopeless for me to find actual butterscotch
touchup paint for my Saluki. :-/

Ditto. Pro racers on long stages, responsible for their own rigs.
I'll subscribe to tha
d beyond weight distribution, padding can damp vibration which is a
source of discomfort for some.

it make sense that a TA double would need a longer spindle than I'm
currently using for a Sugino triple?

clearly rotted my brain!! I embrace any gear range
now and don't care about step size! Thanks for doing the math,
though; I appreciate it. It caused me to work through the
possibilities again. On my Saluki, a 46-12 gives me 99 g.i. (it's
shod with 650A) and even loaded up I think a 30-3
good. I would probably only be asking it to
deal with a 46-30 in the new config I'm dreaming about.

Hi Robert. You might call or email Dream Cycle (dream-cycle.com) --
they had several new Bleriot frames still hanging last I checked. Not
sure about a 61, but worth a try.

Sure, I'm doing it with a couple of friends. Coming down from
Vancouver (Canada).
I'll be riding a butterscotch 650A Saluki and talking with a funny
accent. Mid-point for us is Napavine, WA.

besides pedal width, your Q-factor will also make a difference. A
high-Q (modern) triple setup will strike before a low-Q double or
single. The trigonometry is left as an exercise to the reader. :)

Wow, that is a supremely nice build! Shiny silver bits everywhere.
John, I share your disdain for black bike parts. At least in context,
on a classic build like that. Hope to follow shortly with my Saluki
pics. It's rolling, but without racks for a week or two yet...
