It's a different bike. I have the last "last one" SO in 60cm.
Good bike for someone. Still happy with mine.

Yeah, I like the colors. A local builder often uses a similar color scheme
on his signature bikes.
Are you using a clamp on/threadless stem on a threaded steerer tube? I've
read that that can lead to the steerer cracking but I don't know personally
if that is a realistic concern...

steerer was completely revamped to threadless so all should be good.
Did about 4.5 hours yesterday on the bike and it performed

In defense of the color - I am typically drawn to warm colors, and thought
about getting my Betty in a pink, orange or red. However, every Betty I saw
that had been custom painted didn't appeal to me for reasons unbeknownst to
me. The blue, while not something I'd normally choose, is awesome. I

If all goes well, I will be visiting Portland for the first time to
attend a bicycle planning workshop at Portland State University's
Institute for Bicycle and Pedestrian Innovation in late August. I
plan to arrive a few days early with my bike in tow. I will have to

some fine bicycles at reasonable prices. I just picked up a Homer and spent
about a half-hour just looking at it. It's really quite stunning.

the red accents - like the twining on the cork grips!
The cream tires really lighten-up the look. I can't imagine it with black
tires.

look for frames, I was happy to browse while my wife looked for other
things. It occurred to me that what I'd like is an oak frame with a
"Mission" or "Arts & Crafts" vibe. Didn't find anything yesterday, but who

I'll be getting my 58cm Hunqa in a couple of weeks (with the gray/kidney
paint!) and I'm looking for some RBW Bullmoose bars. I think they came in
two heights, with the 200mm being the taller ones. Those are the size I'm

Whoops! Found RBW's specs on the Bullmoose. They all have the same quill
and it is the extension that is either 150 or 200mm. I think I would prefer

So I was looking for some hubs tonight, checking Universal Cycles as a
start and they no longer have Shimano non-disc XT hubs. I checked the
Shimano website and it doesn't appear they're making them. It appears LX
hubs are still being made but they aren't listed on the Shimano website.

I just flew to portland from SF. they have a bicycle repair stand and some
tools you can borrow, at the airport. just ask the info desk.
When we arrived, we put our bikes together and rode to our destination. it
was very easy.
They also have public transport, but we did not use it.
