The more I think about it, the more I think seat height (SH) is a better
measurement to go by than PBH if you're going to dive in to a new frame and
want the right size. PBH can be measured wrong sometimes, whereas if

RE: Campagnolo UT Cranks - That is not the use for the tool in the photo. The
tool is the bearing puller, to be used to pull the bearing off the crank. The
crank is removed with an 8mm allen wrench.
The two halves of the split spindle are held together with an allen bolt. Once

I stand corrected. The crank in Grant's photo must be the new Power Torque. It
does not have the split spindle, and seems to be guilty of all the sins that

yes... Ws have a shorter nose. I ride a normal 68 on one bike and 68W on
another... I don't notice any functional difference when riding.

I've ridden many times at night on Diablo and the parks surrounding
it. The only other people I've seen are night riders; I guess night
hiking isn't as fun.

Have an "All Terrain - Countess" on my nearly stock '85 Stumpjumper. It's
of B17 width with springs but shorter in the nose. Tried it once on my
Atlantis but the nose of the saddle and a more aggressive posture just
wasn't working for the perinea. I up-tilt the saddle quite a bit; I'll

I did this very conversion last season. At first I tried some old Shimano
Altus cantis that just fit the larger diameter 650b wheels. Eventually I
obtained some smooth arm Paul Moto BMX V brakes that work very well. The
larger diameter wheels have raised the bottom bracket a bit but it is not

Is the 56 normally a 559-wheeled bike? If that is the case, I also
don't see the point unless you want to run narrower road tires and

I actually do want to run narrower (40-44) tires and have a
more aesthetically pleasing wheel profile while doing so. Can't get
fenders to fit right, without a lot of extra fabrication and spacer work,
with tires less than 50mm wide.
