I havent had very good luck with zip ties-- they seem to break and when they do it leads to others breaking and then you have complete catastrophic failure. I have used several different types of zip ties and have used up to 30 of them at a time-- still doesnt hold. I would use bar tape and hose c

Given a choice between a rack that mounted through the brakes or on seperate bazeons, I would always opt for seperate. How will these racks mount to bikes w/out canti breaks? It looks like a design with limited frame options. Right now Riv is only offering the Atlantis w canti breaks and it's r

My mistake. I guess i was put off by the photo of the oddly installed rack and didn't read the description all the way through. However I now see the weight listed as "about 2 lbs. 15.5 oz." I'm assuming that's a typo. It's actually not a bad looking rack, just oddly presented. Michael On Ju

I also read Grant's post differently...oh well. I can't imagine the Atlantis going anywhere. There's a great market for it! OK - on the rack front - two points: 1. Funny we haven't heard anything about the *excellent* porteur- style rack, the prototype I saw when up there in June (must not be
