Do a 1x8 or 9 if that's what you're used. More gears is not necessarily better than less. Being able to spin at different cadences in a given gear is a great thing . I used to be a shiftaholic, trying to maintain a certain cadence all the time. Not anymore, I really just don't care to shift if
