Hi Ryan
The PayPal address is da...@jps.net. If you could use PayPal personal that
would be appreciated - saves the fees.
I'll try to get the bags out on Wednesday - I may use FedEx Ground - let me
know if the address is a house or a business and a contact phone number.
Thanks!

Thank you Mike and Anne and all. I really appreciate your experience. I'll

I agree with what Anne says. While I have a strong appreciation for canvas
and leather bags, the bikepacking rackless bags are lighter and IMO better
engineered. I can travel further and with greater ease. I also find that my

between wide open roads and trails in much of the SW and the more
convoluted and overgrown trails I've seen in photos of Eastern forest rides

in the way of my legs, particularly on narrow trails where I needed to
get close to the bike. YMMV.
The other appeal is simply simplicity. Racks can loosen up.
Beautiful bags, Mike! Wow.
Could you help me understand the allure of frame bags vs. traditional
panniers for bike packing? The main argument I've heard is squeezing
through tight spaces. I've never understood this. My panniers are not wider
than my legs are on the bike, and in LCG the bike and
