The bike was originally conceived as a derailleur analogue to my '99 fixie
gofast, so I did use a ti Phil bb, light rims, and even (blush) a ti stem
binder bolt (no longer; I replaced the original stem with a Pearl that is
too long for said ti bolt). And of course there is the Flite, but that is

Wow, impressive.
I've been trying to think of ways to lighten up my Atlantis. It isn't that

It's not that hard-- my Rawland Stag with 2x10 derailleur gearing and large
11-32 cassette, with dynamo lighting, front rack and heavy Berthoud saddle
weighs 23.5 lb, and that's with wide 42mm tires and 52mm fenders. This also
includes little extras like bell and mud flap and three bottle cages.
Wow! What a beauty!

Forgot to add that the 40s work fine, though tolerances are close. I was
under the impression that they were 45s but a caliper measures 40. The 35
mm Kojaks measure 32 mm on the 19/13 mm rims.
