Joe has the original Gallop for sure! It would be interesting to compare
the geometry.

Those are just new "features" on your beautiful Paul levers and Spank
pedals. Now they really are one of a kind!

Hey Bill (or anyone with an informed opinion),
Can cloth tape wrapped over padded tape still be shellacked? I'm going to
be wrapping a Chocomoose forward of the brake levers, and a bit more girth
and some cush would be nice but I do want to shellac to match a honey
Brooks...
Thanks, Doug
Agree that the Quickbeam is sweet. What size are those bikes?

Liz,
What a fun story! I enjoyed reading it and smiled and chuckled. Your
writing is fantastic, not exaggerating. You and Leah have inspired me to
search for these types of rides in my area. Keep the ride reports coming
Sistas.

Me too Sarah! That is a fantastic looking saddle. Congrats on finding this
rare model.

Indeed 43 mm are generally not slender but I had a set of 42s on my Clem
for awhile and they look slender on it. I found them good on pavement and
good enough on gravel. Let us know how they work for you Richard!

Leah, that trek across that narrow plank sounds crazy holding a bicycle!
The rest of it sounded fun and adventurous. I need to do more night riding.
The little I've done was great. Riding after dark has a cool vibe.

Fantastic ride report on your Rivendell. Don't let the grumpy old men get
you down. It's not worth it.
