I wouldn't worry about it. Try it, and if you find it's not working, go bigger, raise the pressure, or slow down. Fixed riding kind of limits the amount of speed trouble you can get into, anyway. My rims are generally 18mm inside, with 32 spokes, and I don't have wheel troubles. Cliffhangers ar
