Dear Patrick, The Legolas was sprightlier than a Rivendell road standard of the same size. I think the builder told me it had a lighter top tube than any other Rivendell. It rode like a modern sporting bike, similar to a thinwall OS Waterford, but with bigger tire clearance and fender eyelets.
