scratches only in the usual places like the dropouts; no braze-ons on
the front forks for mini-rack, must use the clamps; it is a great
bike, but a tad big for me -- wish I had a 61.

Hey Patrick, if you still have the tubus rack, would you trade me for
another custom bag plus cash for your rack?
My friend Ron Lau just traded me a frame that is built to take a tubus rack.

included multiple long exposed climbs really seems to have taken it out of

Just about 5 yrs ago I packed up the family and moved from MA to NC to
work in a shop in Asheville. I learned a great deal as a result of my
early mid-life crisis and wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
I did however "sell out" and moved back to the IT/IS world for better

There is a long wait for the Bombadil. A second hand cheapie would be nice

My new diaga-tube Waterford-built Bombadil = L10024
By their code, that would make it the 24th built in November 2010.
What does my serial number mean?
It depends on the year it was built. If your bike was built after mid-1995,
you have a 6-character number: For example: F98123.

Waterford's web site explains their serial # system, regardless of the
nameplate on the bike. Toyo bikes were sequential, iirc. So my RB841 was the
