Update - got my shirt yesterday. Washed it last night and wore to

Hadn't noticed, but it would make the newer Hillborne bikes easier to

Yes, the fork crown is different now. I have an early Hillborne and
the design is different. I like mine, but if I had the newer, I'd

Very lovely looking build, one of the few Sam's I have seen built up as

That wasn't my thread. I always planned on bringing the tent. I just

So, did you bring your tent on your camping trip? If you did, were
you glad that brought it, or was it extraneous and not needed. Just

Agreed Peter, having the FD mount between the bosses does seem like a
design flaw, on any size frame. I suppose you could use spacers to hop
over the derailleur clamp. It'll be tough to reach down that far to
grab the bottle while riding. Why not have it higher? Something I'm
missing?

If the jockey wheel is hitting the cog it's too close. Shortening the
chain is IMO the main way of rotating the cage so the jockey wheel
position os farther from the cog. Then you have to see if operation
over the rest of the range is acceptable. If it's not, you might need
a different dérailleur.

As far as I can tell the "decorative" elements of the lugs are a bit

And, much to my chagrin, the water bottle bosses on the seat tube are
