That wasn't my thread.  I always planned on bringing the tent.  I just
about always prefer being in a tent, and am not an ounce-squeezer when
I camp.  I actually brought both a tent and a bivy sack.  I gave Doug
the Bivy sack.  He had planned sleeping in the open air.  There were
some bugs.
