Another GREAT ride completed without fatalities or dismemberment! No
mechanicals, no bonks, no drops. A great 40ish or 60ish mile ride from
Downtown L.A., down to Palos Verdes then out to the Pacific.
I can't say enough what a great ride with great people. Thanks to all who

Anyone out there have a Mark's Rack that they are willing to part

beautiful bike!!!. i can't , by the pictures, tell what size your

frame with 650 tires. anyway, your hilsen looks like the ultimate

What are folks thoughts on the VO roller hangers? Do they offer any
advantage over the classic Dia Compe hangers?

Forgot which. Just saw some yesterday.
The Tektro hangers can work fine, but my Hillborne has cheap generic
(or old Dia-Compe) hangers.

If anyone wants a set of Ribbit cantilevers, I've got an set sitting

Light road usage on the brakes and near-zero (or perhaps exactly zero)

According to the article on Sheldon's site, the 50 and 52 cm

What does the tire say on the sidewall?
Incidentally, if it does say 584, the "older" part is true, the

You should have no problem if you reverse the B-screw on any Non-Shadow

Shimano is usually conservative with their ratings so if this unit is
rated to 34, there's a good chance it'll handle 36. On their website,
Rivendell recenlty mentioned they using that 12-36 9 speed a lot. You
may want to consult them on what RD they use but I doubt it's anything
special.
Yep - they are great brakes. They look pretty cool, of course - and
set up properly, they are quite effective at stopping! I just wore
through the pads after two years of use, with plenty of off-road
braking.
I'm not a big fan of the Tektro "dial in" hangers. When I change out
the h'bars next,
I know that Esteban has them on his (gorgeous) Protovelo and loves
them. I have them on my DoubleCross and think I need to tweak my cable
housing and the straddle length. They are definitely good but I still
need to tweak mine some.

Anyone with experience using these?

My wife is 5'3" and her PBH is 77 cm. However, one of the reasons we
