I am poised to place order with Chainreaction for http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=15113
They also have a Shimano Deore Cassette 9 Speed HG61 12-36T cassette that I'd considered but the LX derailer only supports up to 34T. Will the 36T work with the LX or would it be worthwhile to consider another derailer. If not then I'll go with the 34T cassette. I should note that I won't be doing any real touring on this bike. It's more a labor of love that I'll use to commute to the small Junior College where I work several times a week (16 miles RT) with one hill that's fairly ugly. Thanks all for helping me along. I've got almost all my parts lined up ;) On Feb 19, 11:19 am, "J.
