The Roadeo and Bombadil colors are fantastic. Really like both of them.
I hope the Roadeo goes on to be quite the hit for Rivendell!

The lug lining on the Bombadil looks pretty spectacular - he even went
after the tiny holes/windows in the fork crown! Sure looks awesome
from the photos. Great paint scheme, too. Also liked the color choices
on the Roadeos. Thanks for the pix, Jim.
Best,
Alex

I wouldn't mind having a Roadeo in that color scheme in my collection.
Thanks for the photos, Jim.

Dropped by the Rivendell Bicycle Works Headquarters and La-ir for a while
today. Pestered the staff for a bit and chatted with GP. Got a nice chance
to check out some of the more recent work.

I've long thought that bike touring should be a broader, more
inclusive term, not limited to multi-month expeditions with 100 lbs of
extreme survival gear on the bike. I'd go a step further and include
my usual non-competitive day rides with no overnight component in the
"touring" category. Anyway,
In the current issue of Adventure Cycling magazine, Aaron Teasdale
writes about a series of S24O rides this last summer. As a resident
of Missoula, he can ride out his back door and be in the forest in 25
minutes. IIRC, Rivendell had an S24O article in the RR years ago.

Sorry I missed the ride. You guys got some great photos, though, and
Andy made sure the Atlantis banner got flown. See, when you have an
Atlantis, it's the right bike for every ride! I'll be out of the
country so I'll miss the January ride but looking forward to
February.

Being somewhat put-off by cults of personality, I think there's enough
of Grant in the various Rivendell pieces to give it a personal touch
while retaining focus on the bikes and gear. After all, it is the
bikes we are buying and enjoying. The whole Rivendell approach is
quirky and self-effacing

Hi Everyone,
I am selling my 56.5 cm Burnt Orange All Rounder. It comes with
a shimano 600 headset and downtube barrel adjusters. This frame is in
great shape no dings or dents a few chips off paint mostly on the
right hand chainstay. Frame is made from reynolds 753 fork from 531.

As it so happens, I came across both the new Breezer website (via
Alan's post about his latest photo adventure --

the new Garry Fisher catalog on the same day.
