Jason, I can't vouch for any other distributions, but RH7.3 and RH9(with the UTF8-enabled perl 5.8) install suidperl as part of a normal install -- never had to worry about contortions or configuring it either. In fact, the only real issues I've had with RH9 have been default LANG setting bei

folks, I was installing the latest qmail-scanner on a linux box and notice that it still clings to suidperl. I looks like suidperl is not supported/liked/installed by default anymore on any newer release of perl. So, is there a new way to give qmail scanner the access it needs without doing all
