Thanks very much
the problem was with the permission on /usr/bin/reformime
I simply chmod -s /usr/bin/reformime and all is well
perhaps a FAQ ???
Good!
I'm happy for having solved your problem!
I have put 10 days into this
I'm write some email at qmail-scanner-list
If i run clamd as root then all scanning happens and mail is processed.
If I run clamd as qscand ( chown -Rf qscand:clamav /var/clamav/ and
chown -Rf qscand:clamav /var/run/clamav/ ) then scanning fails with clam
complaining that it can open /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/cen.8u9sd8987d9s/dir.

any chance of incorporating this into qmail-scanner?
Hi,
where version of AVG is OK
is possible that qmail-scanner don't have, at start of process (id=83,
into firt line is vpopmail user!),
a permission to create directory in /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/ ?

No run the last test of the install
Login as somebody other than root.
And run /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner.pl -g
If this fails (I bet it will) this is your problem.
Your problem is still that root owns the files. Q-S is running as root.
Mumble mumble
O.K.,

Did you run the last test? I never used the install option. I always did the
install by hand. Everything looked OK though. Just replace /usr/bin/perl
with /usr/bin/suidperl and see if it runs.
To get the right location 'which suidperl'
O.K., I have replace #!/usr

Don't know post back to list and maybe Jason H. might know. You could also
post the config process output.
O.K., I have find suid perl in /usr/bin/ !
This is my configure option and output
./configure --admin virusadmin --domain mizasol.com --scanners
clamsc
nomoney.com
Are O.K. a file owner/group in /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/?
People have a solutions of this problem?
Many thanks!
