Did you run the last test? I never used the install option. I always did the
install by hand. Everything looked OK though. Just replace /usr/bin/perl
with /usr/bin/suidperl and see if it runs. To get the right location 'which suidperl'

O.K., I have replace #!/usr/bin/suidperl -T in first line of qmail-scanner-queue.pl
I have set chmod u+s, owner qscand.qscand (original permission of qmail-scanner-queue.pl) and starting qmail.

Into log I retry this:
--output of clamscan was:
/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/godzilla.mizasol108397543447930637/1083975436.30642-0.godzilla.mizasol: Access denied.
ERROR: Can't open file /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/godzilla.mizasol108397543447930637/mails.zip
/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/godzilla.mizasol108397543447930637/mails.zip: Access denied to archive.

BUT: into "/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/" now I find a work directory of ClamAv. This is dir content during scan:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# ls -la /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/*
total 40
drwx------ 3 qscand vchkpw 4096 mag 8 02:17 ./
drwx------ 3 qscand root 4096 mag 8 02:17 ../
-rw------- 1 root qmail 17 mag 8 02:17 1083975436.30642-0.godzilla.mizasol
drwx------ 2 qscand vchkpw 4096 mag 8 02:17 clamav-fe09de32cdb6401e/
-rw------- 1 root qmail 22140 mag 8 02:17 mails.zip

O.K., I think permission of clamav-feblabla.... is correct.
This is a little first goal!
:-))))

Now, a mail message with attachment are still of root ....
:-(
