Before outputting the Geospatial PDF, the Measure Tool in QGIS shows a
distance of about 439 meters for a feature.

Thanks for getting back to me.
The output coordinate system of the contour map was when it was generated in
PIx4Dmapper was NAD83(CSRS)/UTM zone 17N (EPSG #2958).
When I bring it into QGIS (version 3.40.1-Bratislava), the coordinate system
is set to EPSG: 2958 in QGIS.

In any case, since the map's CRS is a UTM projection, there shouldn't be

I have outputted a geospatial PDF directly from the main QGIS window. That’s
seems to produce an accurate geospatial PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
