I am well aware of the other image services and map services
available from geonb.snb.ca. I helped publish them. I am more interested
in the capabilities of QGIS to restyle an ArcGIS Image Service.
I did try the ArcGIS Image Service Connector plugin. It worked OK with
QGIS
It's sometimes worth looking further up the URL hierarchy. If you connect to
https://geonb.snb.ca/image/rest/services/Elevation
you'll see a few other layers, including a nice shaded relief of the elevation.
And in the case of New Brunswick, there is another ArcGIS REST service
