I'm new to using the puppetlabs/mysql forge module and having trouble
creating the user for performing backups. My guess is that I'm overlooking

I am attempting to implement puppet for a server block of 20. Have set
it up and used for 2 months now. All of a sudden i get SSL problems.
Here is what ive done:
Server - removed Server SSL directory completely(/var/lib/puppetmaster/ssl).
Server(Client) - removed Client SSL directory completely(/

Seems as though instantlinux is deploy'ing a customized OS, however we are
dealing with mix of different OS'es (This has to work at least on Linux and
Solaris), so doesn't seem like an option

I've installed puppetmaster 2.7.13 on a server with CentOS 6.2 with a rpm
supplied by yum.puppetlabs.com.
I've setup a apache2 vhost with mod_ssl and passenger. The server is
configured to autosign the cert requests.
The agent installed on the puppetmaster's server works fine. I've a secon
wn configuration mechanism I save a lot of
time. I still can call the distribution mechanism with exec so I still can
reflect the configuration change within puppet.

There isn't any of my default variables that
sudoers::config': sudoenv=> $sudoenv, stage => install; in
my server-defaults node definition, but puppet gave me a duplicate
error on include.
I'm running 2.6.4 on both server and client side.

u convert the key to a PEM key before putting it into
puppet? You can use OpenSSL to convert the binary key to a PEM key:
openssl enc -in some-bin.key -out some-pem.key -a

it maybe could be done outside of puppet with mysql-proxy. rewriting/
redirecting SELECT and UPDATE/INSER
combination with CentOS + EPEL or RHEL + EPEL or whatever combination will
help.
