How do I start rpc.mount, rpc.nfsd and portmap??
Are any other services necessary for NFS file sharing???

If I digit smb: in the command line I get the message:
Nautilus can't display smb:///
But if I digit smb://192.168.0.40 I get shares displayed in Nautilus window.
Any suggestion to a newbie of Samba???

How do you install Xine starting from RPMS (that I got from Rpmsfind),
as i get a lot of missing dependencies:
glut, aalib, lirc, libaa.so.1, libglut.so.3, libaa.so.1

I started playing with Grip today and I have two problems.
1) Ripping is operating only as root (and no operation happens as user)
2) I can' find the MP3 encoder as RPM.

line...everything is o.k. on my network: then added

I need a small help for Masquerading with Iptables my Homelan to surf the
Web (as I did with RH7.3 by Rppoe...with IPCHAINS)
If my homelan is 192.168.x.x (and my router/firewall
also if I am connected to Internet by PPoE (i.e. dynamic
IP), and iptables can start starting the connection??
2) if i do not give command echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward,
nothing works. Shall I put this command in rc.local???
