hi all, i am unable to print anything on my hp laserjet 5l thru redhat 9 , i disconnected the pinter restarted & again rebooted & restarted it detects the hardware & says it has configured the printer but when i try to print anything there is an error message saying " lpr unable to print file srver-error-service-unavailable "
i tried the below commands too but it doesnt work cups chkconfig cups on service cups restart
this printer works fine when connected to windows , please help

I have not understood. Does the printer work if connected to the Linux Machine as local printer???
I suggest to use the Printer GUI interface, that is more familiar o me and run a page print test.
