I've mentioned this before but not had any feedback; here's some
further info. I get the feeling that this may be related to the default
use of UTF-8 in Psyche, but the LANG=C fix mentioned in the release
notes doesn't help.
Simply, a TrueType font that I've correctly installed won't work
Hi,
It happened to med when i tried to enable sasl2 for postfix on Redhat. I
needed to use saslauthd which comes with sasl2.
I found that Simon White had the same problem (URL):
http://www.irbs.net/internet/postfix/0208/0205.html
And then solved it by installin his own sasl2 (URL):

Well,
I solved the problem as described and compiled Postfix-2.0.4
with -I/usr/include/sasl and -lsasl2.
So Postfix-2.0.4+cyrus-sasl-2.1.10 rpm (saslauthd) works for me.
The only big problem I had was that RedHat uses OpenLDAP 2.0 which uses
sasl1. I solved that by contacting Nalin Dahyabhai <[E

If it's a service then you can disable it with the services gui,
otherwise check $HOME/.bashrc.

I had exactly the same problem which caused my web pages in php to stop

For me it was enough to do this:
rpm -i --replacepkgs glibc-common-2.2.93-5.i386.rpm
I wonder what compelled RedHat to strip files from the package in this way
during installation?

Hi Jesse,
Many thanks for your replies.
You know, it was the 7.5 K3b rpm that I had on the machine anyway. You've
just got to have KDE 3.0 installed for this thing to work. Happily, I've
worked out my problem with gtoaster, but I'll be darned if I'll keep K3b on
this computer if I'm forced to ins
