Is there a fix to this ? When i copy part or all of the text in an open
open office doc it only copies part of it.

I'm using a Finnish MS Natural keyboard with LANG="en_US" set in i18n 'cause
I want the system in English. Have tried xmodmap, but can't get it to set .

These normally show up as SCSI devices.
Have a look in your /var/log/messages file...
You should see something similar to
USB Flash disks appear as SCSI partitions, you need to mount the disk, it
should be /dev/sda1 if there are no other SCSI devices in your system.
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/whateverdiryouwant

for your cdrom. i mean remove the word "hdc=ide-scsi" from /etc/grub.conf ( the
line starts with kernel /boot) If you are using GRUB as boot loader. (the

The problem was the same wether APM and ACPI was enabled or disabled. Several times RH
made a kernel-dump at the exact same spot. RH never got to write "Power down".
But when I changed to kernel-debug-2.4.18-14 everything seemed to work.
