the new NVIDIA (build 4191) rpm. Guess i'll hold off
on that.
That's interesting about the i386 rpm versions. JFM,
Your're saying test replacing a i586 rpm with an i386?

Hello,
I have since 8.0 betas had problems with rpm. I originally submitted
a bug report(#68056) about rpm hanging during beta. At the time the bug
was reported fixed. Later RedHat 8.0 was released and the flood gates
opened with a number of bug reports(#73097, #73415, #74726, #75553,

Hey list,
Just went to www.redhat.com/errata/ to check for updates for my RH8 box and
saw this announcement that RH would be providing "errata maintenance for at
least 12 months from the date of initial release". It also puts up the End
of Life dates for errata maintenance for several products.

Thanks Warren,
that does look exactly like what I'm getting. I also just ran the rpm
-V redhat-config-packages and got no error also.
I'm running an AMD with 512M as are some of the other people. I don't
know if that matters, but it's more info.
Thanks again, I'll be following this bug.

Under the recently released Mandrake MNF firewall, the installation assigns

I could assign a static IP to any card and use it fine, but none of the
