I had previously fired up RP8 so I found the rpnp.so in /usr/lib/RealPlayer8 and copied it to /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.1/plugins and retried Nemesis at iFilm. Same error -- it will not save my preferences. I have chosen RealPlayer8 as the default and Windows Media, Quicktime, and Flash "Not Installed

I have a sony ide cdburner (CRX175A 40x24x10/2MB;IDE) that is rated to burn at 24X, but it seems the ide scsi emulation only is allowing it to go 4X, if you query the drive with cdrecord it says only 4X. Anybody know why that is? Is there any way to get it to go faster?? I have read all the docs
