I agree, the "get" page (or the pspp webpage) is the best, most stable.
So I'd like either:

Aren't the gnu.org pspp download and nightly build pages pointing to pspp at
https://caeis.etech.fh-augsburg.de/ ? So would you have to change to where
they both point? Or could the 1.6 build for windows on the nightly build page
be moved to where the main gnu.org pspp download page points?

I can change the links on gnu.org to point to a known-good Windows binary,
but I don't think it's appropriate to host Windows binaries (or other
binaries) at gnu.org.

i made a seperate windows 1.6.0 installer download directory
https://caeis.etech.fh-augsburg.de/downloads/windows/1.6.0-release/
and updated the web page. So now it points to the released 1.6.0 install exe.

Ben, I'm not clear on what you mean. Do you mean you don't think it's
appropriate for the gnu page to -point to- a windows version of pspp? Why not?
I don't think this gnu page is -hosting- a windows binary, just pointing to one
