Hi Lew,
Don't know if you're intending to convert existing and significant VFP
applications, but if so, maybe consider VFP compatible software so the
learning curve and conversions wouldn't be so big and expensive.
I'm thinking that since VFP10 checks out with Windows 10, VFP apps will
continue
Hi Andy,
> but I still don't like their lock-in fee structure.
I assume by that you mean that it's being sold as a subscription model. The
pricing page isn't very clear on the difference between 'limited support'
and 'support' but assuming the highest price applies
Took a look at the video and yeah, MS is definitely headed in a better
direction. Open source and, it seems, more interest in making developers
happy by including more languages in VS
But what about VFP? It hurt to listen to him brag about the growing list of
languages supported by Visual Studio
Ok, Thierry. You're right about taking the high ground.
I've just posted the comment below to the messages at

What about FoxPro?
- open source!
- Visual Studio support!

Testing ... replied to Dave this morning. It didn't get through so I
re-sent it this afternoon, and that didn't get through
Trying this without content to see if it will get through

Hi Leland,
> Reached me just fine.
Yeah, I got this test message too, but not the earlier 2. After sending and
then receiving this test note, I re-sent the original a 3rd time, this time
sans the URL link, thinking that might have triggered a spam filter, but
this one didn't get through either.
