That's not part of VFP, it's Craig Boyd's encryption DLL. I have
software using it on many Windows 7 machines.
Yes it has some dependencies on VC++ DLLs - you need MSVCP71.DLL and
MSVCR71.DLL, if I remember.

05 error on a 2008 server but all I had was the previous version which works

I finally got a chance to apply Hotfix 3 to my VFP9 SP2 and now my modal
forms are working good again.

this was done. the original install was sp1 and i think it still is. i plan

The problem is if a modal form calls a modeless for the model form does not
release scope.
