This would not be a good thing to do, as deleted email will magically
reappear.
Using unison to sync it worked for me, over 10years ago. But these
days, just use dsync part of dovecot, and your life will be happy.

I have Postfix/postscreen 3.1.4 + AV/AS/etc. running on a hosted VM.
It acts as a front-end, delivering to another postfix instance that's on my
LAN; the comm's over a VPN link.
The local postfix instance delivers via LMTP to an IMAP store, currently on the
same box. It also provides port 587
It turns out the previous admin neglected to include a section in master.cf
to indicate the relay port that was specified in the dkimproxy_in.conf file.
Adding that section cured the problem. Apparently the old system running on
lenny somehow tolerates the omission without causing any problems.
Very good, then. Thanks!

Postfix does not write to the logging socket. The library does.

Hi, my problem is that postfix respond with the same reject code for

I think you have a bounce loop with mailman? bouncing each bounce message from

I would make sure the mailman queue is empty.

Thank you for replying.
You mean that the Postfix server should not stop connection to LDAP server?
Even it is OS issue, can I change unknown user status?
I set up NSS(nslcd) and PAM config for LDAP on CentOS6.
And I got the following error when the postfix server can't connect to
Maybe you can start with a "null" proxy and smtpd_proxy_filter,
and add some modifications to the SMTP command stream based

Use an external content filter (Postfix is not a content-management
system). See
